Hisotric fencing, private and group lessons

Eric Gerry

Why Fencing?

Because it is an excellent way on the ground to learn to move and feel your gravity center and balance correctly.

The awareness when felt on the ground will pay immediately in the saddle and also will improve immediately your body language when working a horse from the ground.

Elementary or advanced fencing lesson Eric Gerry, specialist of historic fencing, who is accomplished in this art. On guard and exercises to improve core strength and coordination.

Deeper we go with creative endeavors to improve our grace as we dance with our equine partners.

Group rhythmic lessons with

Marc Dinnerstein

Why Rhythmic Lessons?

We all know riding horses or working them in hand or with long reins, requires very precise timing of our aids. But not everyone is rhythmic and has this important part in their blood.

This why this type of lessons focus on rhythm with drumsticks to work on beats and to learn to get independent with every hand and leg. How?

Drumming!

"Like most people I have timing issues with riding and coordinating cues at the precise time I need to be communicating with my horse.

The workshop is giving me a better understanding of what I need to work on and improve to be more effective. It is also helping define the separation of the aids between hand and leg and to start to use them independently.

To have a method to work on these issues without being on a horse is a great advantage."

"It's easy to see that rhythm and drumming is so helpful in our quest to become better communicators to our horse..The concentration it develops in each hand and leg movement enriches the connection between human/horse.

It helps to make us more aware of our movements."

"We spent an hour with drumsticks practicing different patterns with hands and feet to a metronome and music.

OMG! I can really see this helping the coordination and timing for riding and long reining."
